  • CDC HAN 531 Domestically Acquired Cyclosporiasis Cases in Multiple U.S. States, 2026. Issued 7/14/2026  

  • An investigational notice was released by CDC on 7/15: Cyclosporiasis Outbreak with Unknown Source. If an outbreak source(s) is confirmed, CDC will send out an outbreak notice with that information.

    • Please note, these numbers are laboratory confirmed cases only which CDC has received from our state partners and do not include suspect cases that state, tribal, local, and/or territorial jurisdictions may be reporting.  

    • CDC is also aware of more than 5,100 additional reports that require further analysis to confirm they meet the surveillance case definition.
